Traditional Scandinavian breakfast and holiday foods meet the innovation of Chef Nick Johnson in Restaurant Magnus' Scandinavian Holiday Brunch held only three short weeks in the month of December. We look forward to you joining us for this wonderful food and the holidays.

FIRST COURSE:
Norwegian Sour Cream Porridge (Rommegrot) with raisins, cinnamon and sugar.
Norwegian Glogg Poached Apples with gjetost cheese, yogurt and granola.
Swedish Gravlox Deviled Eggs with creme fraiche and red onion.
Danish Pickled Herring
with spicy mustard sauce and crisp bread.
Levanger, Western Norway Onion Soup with Jarlsberg crouton.
Head Cheese with Lefse mustard and pickles.
SECOND COURSE:
Swedish Pancakes or Norwegian Sour Cream Waffles
with salt pork, mountain berry jam, walnuts and whipped cream.
Danish Crackling Pork Roast with lingonberry preserves, braised cabbage and new potatoes.
Roasted Scandinavian Sausages (medister polse/potato/blood) with cabbage and poached eggs.
Swedish Ryderg - seared beef tenderloin and potato hash with poached egg and red wine sauce.
Bergen, Norway Sauerbraten with poached eggs and potatoes..
Swedish - Jansson's Temptation - potato, onion and sardine gratin with poached eggs.
Norwegian Caramelized Mushroom Turnovers with root vegetables and mustard sauce.
