If making your reservation on the same day, it's better to
call rather than email as we may not see your reservation
in time.

 Restaurant
Magnus is open seven nights a week. Dinner seating begins
at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 10:00 p.m. nightly, and we serve
our complete tapas and dessert menus until midnight. We close
occasionally for large private parties and commonly observed
holidays. Dinner reservations are highly recommended, especially
for parties of six or more guests and on weekends.
We may call to reconfirm your reservation. If you will
be staying in a hotel, please provide the hotel's name when
making a reservation. Please call to confirm reservations
for six or more guests at least 24 hours prior to your reservation.
We accept reservations up to one year in advance. It's best
to call a week or more in advance for weekend reservations.
Plan on 1 ½ to 2 hours for your dinner visit. Dress appropriately
for an upscale dining experience. Jackets and ties are not
required for gentlemen.
UW GRADUATION WEEKEND: We begin accepting reservations
for spring University of Wisconsin graduation weekend
on Sunday, April 1st, 2008 at 10:00am. It's best to make a
reservation for graduation weekend in person. For these reservations,
a US$100 deposit is required. Maximum table size - 12 guests.
We have found that this is the fairest way to book these reservations
for everyone wishing to dine with us and the best way to ensure
that the entire evening is a wonderful experience for all
our guests.
2008 SPRING GRADUATION - Friday, May 16th; Saturday, May
17th;
We start taking reservations on Tuesday, April 1st at
10:00am. Maximum table size for both evenings is 12 guests.
UPDATE: As of 5/1/08, ALL reservations for Saturday
May 18th have been filled. There are still some early and
late reservations still available for Friday 5/17.
2008 SPRING GRADUATION - Sunday, May18th;
We have begun accepting reservations for Sunday, May 18th.
As with the Friday and Saturday graduation days, the maximum
table size for this evening is 12 guests.
UPDATE: As of 5/8/08 there are a very few reservations
remaining early and late on Sunday, May 19th.
Gift Certificates
Restaurant Magnus gift certificates are available.
They may be purchased in person at the restaurant or by credit
card (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX) over the telephone at (608)
